Posh Pet Services started with a simple idea: your pets deserve the same love and attention at home that you give them. Today our team cares for dogs and cats across Clay, Duval and St. Johns counties.

In 2019, shelter staff in Gainesville found two 3-week-old puppies abandoned in the woods. Their foster mom, Gina, nursed them back to health for six months. Then she happily "foster failed" and adopted Thea, and her brother Simon (also featured in the photo) was adopted by family.
Today Thea is our doggy CEO. She manages 5 to 200 lb furry friends, and she personally runs our doggy rewards. She loves to bring the party, so she makes sure every pet gets celebrated for birthdays, yearly milestones and more. 🎉
She's also the reason helping shelter pets find loving forever homes is part of everything we do, one paw at a time.
Care from people who know what they're doing
Many of our caregivers are registered nurses and vet techs, so we're comfortable with medications, insulin shots and other injections.

A primary sitter who knows your pets, with a backup always on standby. We never cancel a confirmed visit at the last minute.

GPS tracking, a sitter timer, 2–3 photos and a final report every single time.

We ask every client to keep a card on file with their vet, so if your pet ever needs care while you're away, there's no delay.
No keys to lose
We use your door code, garage code or a lockbox on your property, and your details are shared only with your sitter.
